From the 1982 kitchen table beginnings, Cables and Chips initially hand-soldered computer cables that were supplied to local and national computer stores.

As the computer industry evolved so did Cables and Chips. From its humble beginnings in the NYC South Street Seaport area to its present home on Fulton Street two blocks from Ground Zero, Cables and Chips has maintained its reputation of excellent service.

Custom cables are still produced at Cables and Chips. However, the main direction of the company is voice, data and fiber optic structured cabling systems. Being a computer company in NYC for the past 37 years is no easy feat. Being truthful, honest, and efficient to its many varied clients, has made Cables and Chips an institution. We are so, very proud of the work we do.
