Project Overview
Coordinate WiFi, camera, access-control, and network needs.
The infrastructure plan brought wireless access points, CCTV devices, access-control components, network closets, and uplink requirements into one coordinated scope. Device drops and pathways were organized, PoE connectivity was considered where appropriate, and the cabling was labeled and tested to support a cleaner handoff to the client’s IT and security teams.
The Challenge
Wireless and security systems needed a stronger physical foundation.
Business-critical offices depend on reliable wireless connectivity and consistent security coverage, but both systems are only as dependable as the cabling, pathways, power planning, and network connections behind them. The project needed to improve device placement and connectivity while respecting occupied work areas, existing operations, and the client’s internal technology requirements.
Before & After
Before
AfterRepresentative project imagery is shown until verified client photography is added.
Scope of Work
Structured cabling for wireless access-point locations
Network pathways for CCTV and access-control devices
PoE-ready data connections where equipment required network power
Telecom-room patching and cable-management improvements
Labeling and testing for installed network connections
Phased work planning around occupied business areas
Project Flow
Review coverage goals, device locations, pathways, and telecom-room capacity.
Coordinate low-voltage routes with the client’s IT and security requirements.
Install and terminate cabling in phases to reduce disruption.
Test, label, and document connections for the teams managing the systems.
The Outcome
A more organized platform for wireless and physical security.
The completed infrastructure was designed to provide cleaner connectivity for wireless and security devices, clearer documentation at the rack, and a more consistent physical layer for future equipment changes. The result supports day-to-day operations without turning the network closet into another source of uncertainty.
